Job Description
The Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, the preparation of financial reports, and providing support for the financial activities of the company.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Analyze and interpret financial data
• Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries
• Prepare budgets and forecast future financial performance
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of taxes
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures
• Prepare and review audit schedules
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Research and resolve customer inquiries
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Produce accurate financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Manage payroll processing
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision making
• Develop financial reports for management and regulatory bodies
• Participate in financial audits
• Develop and review internal control procedures
• Identify and recommend cost reduction solutions
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and principles
• Familiarity with financial analysis and forecasting
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical thinker
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with bookkeeping and financial reporting
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
