Power BI Developer

Job Description

The Power BI Developer is responsible for developing, designing, customizing, and maintaining Microsoft Power BI solutions. The Power BI Developer will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and build dashboard reports, visualizations, and data models that meet their needs.

The Power BI Developer should have a solid understanding of data analytics, data warehousing, database design principles, and a strong ability to develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to understand complex data sets and create sophisticated reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive data model.
• Design complex data queries and data transformations.
• Develop and maintain data cubes and data marts.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and develop appropriate solutions.
• Test and debug Power BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all Power BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to Power BI solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to other teams on Power BI usage.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Power BI
• Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and database design principles.
• Proficient in SQL, DAX, and MDX.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and create sophisticated reports.
• Knowledge of the latest Power BI features and technologies.
• Experience working with Power BI in an enterprise environment.
