Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Copy Writer/Content Writer to join our team. The Copy Writer/Content Writer will be responsible for creating engaging, compelling and unique copy for print, digital and other media. They will be expected to research topics, brainstorm ideas and develop compelling copy that meets the needs of the project. Additionally, the Copy Writer/Content Writer will be responsible for editing and proofreading copy before it is published.

Job Responsibilities

• Research topics and develop engaging, compelling and unique copy for print, digital and other media
• Brainstorm ideas for copy that meets the needs of the project
• Edit and proofread copy before it is published
• Stay up to date on industry trends
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Collaborate with designers, editors, and other stakeholders on projects
• Ensure all copy is accurate, well written, and consistent with brand standards

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field
• 3+ years of copy writing or content writing experience
• Proven success in creating engaging copy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with SEO
• Knowledge of AP style
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
